d00d.
sympathies. *patpat*
something that i find helps: an advil & a coffee. then curl up in bed, swear a lot, and in about 30-40 minutes it should start to let up.
good luck.

Two words: heating pad.

A heating pad is your friend. I usually alternate it between my stomach and my back, because my cramps tend to cause my back to ache too.

Also, I hear that those thermal stick-pads are also good for when you can't just sit on a chair with a heating pad and skulk about.

Those totally rock - I highly recommend them. Also, heated car seats are the best thing ever.If they're really nasty, going on the pill helps alot, mine were so bad that I would throw up from the pain, now mine are just little twitches. That's an overshare, but ya know, we're all girls here.

Eep! Dude, I so sympathize. :/ Feel better soon?

(Try a hot bath? And don't drink any caffeine -- caffeine causes uterine contractions. Seriously.)

*winces* I'm sorry, hon. I usually take Aleve for mine, and use the Therma...things. They're oh-so-nice. *nods* The curling up in bed and cussing idea also works, if only to help you mentally. ;) Oh, and I've found that if I try to do a little relaxation-type breathing while slowly pointing my toes and pulling them back up (mostly works lying down), it calms my nerves and helps at least a tad.

I hope you feel better already. If not, you have a bunch of people with advice. Heh.

hot tea, hot bath, heating pad, and resting.
i'm on medicated pills - maybe talk to your doctor about that if you can or something. I'm on naproxen for my cramps. they unfortunately put me out like nothing else, but they work.
