from when I actually wrote things that rhymed.

we're not alone!
What do you do when you find we're not alone?
What do you do when you find nobody's home
What do you do when you find we're not alone?
Leave a notice on the door and take saucer ride

What do you care/how I wear my hair?
Does matter in the scheme of life?
What do you want/there's nothing to rhyme with want
With me…?
What did you say when you woke up today, and nobody knew your name?

What do you do when you find we're not alone?
What do you do when you find nobody's home
What do you do when you find we're not alone?
Leave a notice on the door and take saucer ride

Why do you do/ the stupid things you do
Why do you say/ those stupid things you say
What do you know/ you're just a stupid *beep*
What will you say when you wake up today, and nobody knows your name?

What do you do when you find we're not alone?
What do you do when you find nobody's home
What do you do when you find we're not alone?
Leave a notice on the door and take saucer ride

What do you do when you find we are alone?
What do you do when you find we're all at home?
What do you do when you find we're all alone?
Take the notice off the door and go back to bed

I wrote this song. As I wrote it, the voice I heard in my head singing it was that of Blink 182's lead singer.

About two months later, Melody buys a Blink 182 CD, and points out a track called "Aliens Exist," saying I'd like it.

I swear, I had no idea that song existed. *giggles* *shrugs* Well, it's funny to me, anyway...

Little Girl
She stole sheets in the city from the guy who thought he had her pegged
He thought he knew her mind but he only knew her bed
Now she's sleepin' on the streets with the guy who stole her mind
And she's returnin' the favor in like kind

She's got a one way ticket to a forbidden land
She's got a one way street paved in quicksand
She's holdin' her ticket high above her head
Hope's she can cash it before she turns up dead

A little girl in a woman's body
A little girl with a naughty hobby
A little child with a wild style…
Give her an inch and she'll steal the whole mile

And there's nothing for her now
There's nothing in this town
But there's a place where she can go…
But where it is, oh, she doesn't know
She doesn't know…

Yeah she slept with the cute guy on the next block
He talked a good talk but it didn't match his walk
She picked his wallet and grabbed his daddy's keys
She's a naughty little girl just doin' what she please

She got a one way ticket and for her there's no turnin' back
She got a one way ticket for a one way track
She's got her ticket in her back pocket
And a pretty little picture in her stolen locket

A little child with a pretty little smile
She's got your inch and she's got your mile
A sweet little girl in a woman's place
But of the sweet little girl, oh, there is no trace

She's a lovely little whore
Her whole life is a bore
No where to go nothing to be
Little girl me

I don't really like that one anymore. It started with the first line- the phrase "She stole the sheets in the city" had been floating around in my head, and it ended up being that.
