(no subject)

I have a speck of food from lunch (some little fleck of herb, I think) stuck in my throat, just behind my tongue on the right side. It hurts in a scritchy way every time I swallow. I cannot get it out, and I even tried using the curvy tooth-socket syringe the surgeon gave me, to no avail.

:( I am sad.

ETA: Have discovered it's actually the sutures on that side. I have to live with it until they dissolve. :( :( :(
