I did like what I read about it. My parents both said "What's wrong with California?" when I showed them the site, but I'm thinking it looks good...I really like the block learning thing, as so far I haven't dealt terribly well with having more than even two classes at a time.

Exactly. For a lot of people, the block plan is really, really nice. I, for one, love it. I nearly went mad juggling five classes last year, and I think the only reason I survived seven at a time in high school was my mum being fantabulous. The block plan is just so...sane. It's sane enough that I enjoy taking adjuncts (mini, spread-out classes -- like Arabic), because they give me continuity and it was nice to have Arabic there when physics was b0rking my brain regularly.

I'm also really impressed with the faculty here so far, although I've only really had contact with the physics and geo departments. What area(s) are you interested in? I could try to find out specifics if you want. (*cough*ImightpossiblybetryingtoconvinceeveryoneIknowtocomeheremaybe.*cough*)

YAY! After "Oooh, Colorado!" and "Oooh, neat learning plan!" came "Oooh, if I go there I can stalk the neat SCA chick from LJ!"
*grins*

But I am an utter n00b in the SCA!
