If you, dear flist, had your very own ten by ten room to use as your writing space (and, ok, probably crafts-and-computer-games-room)... what would you do with it?



(My only restriction is that I have to have a futon in it or a couch big enough to sleep on).

Library. Line the walls with bookshelves, leaving enough room for a computer desk and a bed (unless it was a room in a flat - apartment - it'd probably be my bedroom too...). If it was a room in a flat, I'd put my pictures up somewhere... though it'd have to be a two-bedroomed flat for that. One for me, one for my books and one for a living-room/front room.

I'm torn on the books and bookcases. On one hand, i'd have all my books! ... on the other, I have mad procrastination skills and books are a bad idea if I want to get things done. Decisions, decisions...

I have this room. No matter what happens, it will become an abyss for every peice of crap in the house. And you'll think, as you put that yoga ball into the office, "I'll find a place for this tomorrow. It's not like this horrible eyesore is going to stay here forever." Let me just say, those are famous last words before the brand new Junk Room/Totally Unhelpful Hole In The Space-Time Continuum eats you.

Since I basically never buy anything I don't think it will be a problem. I'm getting rid of half my stuff when we move anyway.
