DECADE HUH?

So, I'm chatting with tricksterquinn, and she says "I passed my ten year mark in fandom last summer."

Which of course makes me think back and count... and realize that I've hit that same mark. I'm twenty-two, and I've been in fandom since I was twelve.

Holy. Shit. Holy shit, people. I have spent a decade in fandom.

I did the same (though not for Red Dwarf... that I didn't discover until my teens), but I consider, as my starting point for fandom, the time when I discovered fanfiction and online fandom, and started getting involved. Not very involved, but involved. :)
