On very rare occasions, yes. I don't really like eating alone, but sometimes I want a particular thing, and there's no one to eat with, so I eat alone.

Well, you also go out more in general, compared to me. :D I'm such a homebody.

Well, when you spend extended periods not having a kitchen...

True.

SO it is remotely possible that I may be moving to Sacramento for a period of time. It would be in a year or so, and it's ONLY if the boy loses his job (we're worried, with our County's budget being as wonked as the rest of the state-- we're having to cut a lot), but it's a possibility. What is apartment living like?

:( Poor boy. 5-6 positions are getting cut- and he's 6th in seniority. So it's worrisome right now.

Oh, dear! That's rough. :-/

What is it like how? I mean, it's... I don't really understand the question?

... I dunno. I mean, I assume it's somehow different from living in a house. Or maybe it's not? Enlighten this poor soul, I've only lived in two houses in my whole life! :D

...uh, it may be different but I haven't the foggiest how. The big difference in my opinion isn't house vs apartment it's rent vs own. Lots of stuff you can't do when you rent.
